Job description

Working as a Business Process Improvement Analyst will see you supporting the organisational process and operation analysis and redesign utilising continuous Process Improvement methodologies to improve quality, productivity, customer experience and compliance working within a large media organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and deliver Process Improvements and efficiency savings through the revision of Business Processes with minimal technology changes
  • Developing and documenting ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ process maps in compliance to enterprise process mapping standards and tools
  • Conduct thorough diagnosis of Business Processes and operations, document and present recommendations and provide detailed assessment of cost, benefits and risks
  • Facilitate workshops and projects with broad cross section of stakeholders, customers and partners to deliver the right outcome
  • Work with solution architects, solution designers, business analysts, business SMEs and other stakeholders to assess, design and deliver an efficient and effective process solution

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive demonstrated experience in business analysis, Business Process mapping and Business Process re-engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in building and cultivating effective partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders from idea to delivery
  • Detailed understanding of project management disciplines (eg Prince2, PMBoK) and Process Improvement methodologies eg: Six Sigma, Lean tools)
  • Demonstrated experience in self-motivating, self-directed value driven working style with ability to partner with business teams to improve their processes and process knowledge
  • Knowledge of business requirements gathering, analysis and process mapping techniques
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) Certification or equivalent desirable but not essential

This is a contract opportunity initially for 3-6 months (with a view of going permanent) which requires significant experience to be able to hit-the-ground running.
