Our Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Improvement Officer to join our team based in Garden Island. The primary responsibility will be to provide project support and administrative assistance to support Above Water Systems (AWS) in delivering business and project outcomes .
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
Provide administrative support for multiple projects to support business needs
Accurately enter and maintain data in business systems
Generate reports and summaries from business systems
Data management - maintain a customer records and file management system for each project including correspondence and project documents, in accordance with data management processes.
Coordinate the preparation, quality assurance, registration, and delivery (dispatch/email) of project artefacts (documents/correspondence) to customers, contractors and suppliers in a timely and high-quality manner.
Assistance with the production of regular Dashboards, Metrics, Project Status Reports, and CSR reports.
Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations, tables and reports.
Assist with the co-ordination of project and contract related travel arrangements (domestic and international) as required.
Assist with the reconciliation of all project and contract related travel costs (domestic and international) as required.
Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions and receipts for department and project procurements in the purchase order system.
Co-ordinate business functions, including formal invitations, catering, venue and equipment arrangements.
Ensuring project databases are maintained up-to-date at all time
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Business Administration, Engineering, TAFE Certificate or equivalent experience
Good knowledge of MS Office and database applications
A positive can-do attitude and a desire to make a valued contribution to the team's success
Special Requirements:
You will need to successfully clear a pre-employment medical and police check.
