Your new role
As a Business Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing financial processes within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Documenting Processes: You will meticulously document existing processes, identifying pain points and areas for improvement.
- Process Mapping: Utilizing your strong analytical skills, you'll map out processes visually, creating clear and concise process flowcharts.
- Excel Expertise: Your proficiency in Excel will be essential. You'll use advanced Excel functions, including lookups, to analyse data and streamline workflows.
- Logical Problem-Solving: As a logical thinker, you'll identify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Strong Excel Skills: Demonstrated expertise in Excel, including lookup functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Business Improvement Experience: Previous experience in process improvement or business analysis is highly desirable.
- Power Automate and Power Flow: Familiarity with these tools will be advantageous, as they enable automation and streamline workflows.
- Office 365 and SharePoint: Experience working with Office 365 and SharePoint will enhance your ability to collaborate and manage documentation effectively.
- Visual Process Mapping: Ability to create visual process maps using tools such as Visio.
