Are you ready to steer transformative change and drive efficiency within Materials Procurement? At Powerlink we're seeking a dynamic Business Improvement Specialist who is passionate about refining processes and optimizing outcomes.
As a Business Improvement Specialist, you'll be the catalyst for innovation within our Materials Procurement team.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading initiatives to identify and implement process improvements that elevate the effectiveness of our Materials Procurement strategies.
  • Upholding a suite of meticulously maintained Materials Procurement procedures, tools, and guides to ensure operational consistency.
  • Overseeing the integrity of our procurement processes and policies, ensuring high-quality outcomes in materials procurement.
  • Providing analytical support for strategic procurement activities, including dashboard management and reporting to inform decision-making.
  • Taking charge of cross-functional projects that intersect with materials procurement, ensuring accountability and successful delivery.
  • Taking ownership of Quality Assurance activities tied to Materials Procurement, ensuring adherence to best practices.
What you'll bring
  • Degree level qualification in Business is advantageous
  • Extensive ability to identify and execute process enhancements, encompassing implementation and adept change management skills.
  • Strong skill set in analytics and report development within an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) environment.
  • Substantial experience in spearheading quality assurance activities within technical or engineering procurement, ensuring top-notch outcomes.
  • Demonstrated track record in meticulously reviewing, updating, and maintaining document suites for both technical and commercial functions.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and auditing governance requirements, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated capability in establishing robust audit programs to maintain operational integrity and adherence to standards.
