About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Business Improvement Specialist to join our client for an initial 6 month opportunity working a Monday to Friday roster 9 hours per day.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify, lead, and support improvement projects across all operational areas of Blackwater mine
Use data analysis and other methods to help identify and prioritise improvement initiatives
Work closely across all levels of operations (from frontline up to manager) to help improve processes and reduce waste.
Support the Management Operating System to required standards
Skills and Experience
Formal tertiary qualifications in business, technical or commercial based disciplines, or formal trade qualifications, or extensive mining experience
Prior experience managing improvement initiatives and projects in the mining industry, experience with data analysis or other analytical methods, experience with continuous improvement methodology
Problem solving skills, project management skills, highly proficient in excel and power point, Stakeholder management and ability to influence.
