What you'll do
The purpose of this role is to lead the integration of new businesses into Woolworths systems, accounting and reporting process. The Business Integration Lead partners closely with the new business to understand their business requirements and proactively develops and implements solutions to integrate this into the broader business. The role is strategic, working across key functions such as New business, FP&A, Corporate, Ext Reporting and FSS to develop integration recommendations and lead the execution phase up to business launch.
- Partner with businesses to understand the business, reporting framework and other requirements
- Work with the business, FSS, IT, FP&A, External Reporting teams to develop integration solutions covering accounting process, reporting/ consolidation process and system integration
- Provide thought leadership on Business Integration related matters, develop integration plans that ensure any new business complies with Woolworths accounting policy and broader accounting principles
- Support and work with FSS on User Acceptance testing of new solutions as required
- Partners with FSS operational teams to implement accounting processes
- Ability to understand and apply accounting principles, processes & policies and awareness of key outcomes required for business finance teams including FP&A, External Reporting and Commercial
- Strong with systems including SAP, BPC and GCP while understanding enterprise application architecture and integration solutions available to each business
- Strong communication skills, maintaining strong relationships with business and support functions
- Highly organised with the ability to lead change and project management for initiatives
- Understanding of systems and data architecture including data design, process design, key controls and key contacts across business including IT and other SME's and the ability to convey business requirements to FSS and IT for implementation
- Excellent exposure to our new businesses and a large number of stakeholders across Woolworths
