Business Manager | Salary Packaging
The Team
The employee benefits team was established in 2001 and has earned the reputation as one of Australia's leading providers of Salary Packaging and vehicle leasing services. We pride ourselves on the longstanding relationships we develop with our clients and their employees.Our Salary Packaging team supports a broad client base ranging from public hospitals, to aged care facilities, charities, religious organisations, government agencies (local and state), universities, private schools, listed corporations and private businesses.
Location
The role can be based in Newcastle or Sydney, with some travel required across the three office locations.
About the Role
The successful applicant will report directly to the CEO and work closely with our Executive team to enhance our Salary Packaging services. You will work closely with new and prospective clients across many and varied industries to tailor employee of choice offerings, including Salary Packaging, vehicle management and leasing, insurance, lending, financial advice, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating new business through business development activities.
- Develop and implement innovative Salary Packaging strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and external providers to optimise service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Leading, coaching, mentoring and supporting the benefits team.
- Stay informed about relevant taxation laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Skills and Experience
- An understanding of Salary Packaging, including novated leasing
- Experience in the finance or insurance industry will be advantageous.
- Finance related qualifications is desirable.
- Proven track record in driving business growth through effective business development
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
