More Opportunities is looking for an experienced and exceptional Business Manager to join our team based in Hobart Office, reporting to the Managing Director. This position is full-time Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm.

Role and Responsibilities
Core objectives include:
1. Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion within the NDIS sector.
- Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks to inform strategic decision-making.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and targets for business performance and monitor progress towards goals.
2. Financial Management
- Manage budgetary planning, forecasting, and financial reporting for NDIS-related programs and services.
- Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and cash flow to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements to optimise resource allocation.
- Processing and issuance of invoices to relevant department, clients, stakeholders etc related to the service provided.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including NDIS participants, families, carers, support coordinators, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with community organisations, advocacy groups, and industry partners to enhance service delivery and promote social inclusion.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, promoting professional development and growth opportunities for team members.
5. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Establish quality assurance processes and performance metrics to monitor service outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits, reviews, and evaluations to ensure compliance with organisational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback and performance data.
6. Business Development and Partnerships:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business development, expansion, and diversification within the NDIS market.
- Develop partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborative initiatives with other service providers, industry stakeholders, and funding bodies.
- Represent the organisation at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to promote brand awareness and generate new business leads.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a minimum of bachelor’s degree or be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
- Strong business expertise, financial management skills, and budgetary oversight experience.
- Competency in using Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Client Management Systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), legislation, and rules.
- Relevant experience in mentoring teams through effective practice.
- Ability to priorities tasks and high-level organisational skills.
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
- Current valid Australian Driver’s License.
- Working with vulnerable people Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- Evidence of full COVID vaccination.
