General Duties: (may include but not limited to)
- Business Development - identify new markets for business growth and services as well as cultivating partnerships and other commercial relationships to pursue strategic opportunities.
- Account management - manage sales and relationships with existing clients, project specifiers, consultants and distributors of our products. As an account manager, your job is to maintain the company's relationship with a client or group of clients so that they continue to grow there business with us.
- Pursue inquiries involving applications that necessitate technical input in the form of engineering concepts.
- Increase revenue streams by expanding existing accounts and prospecting for new business.
- Evaluate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions by recommending available products and services.
- Attend to customer inquiries.
- On-site diagnosis of industrial process equipment, analysis of customer control systems, and appropriate integration decisions.
- Arrange technical demonstrations at customer locations.
- Provide product and service training to existing and new customers.
- Prioritise and schedule activities in order to best manage and achieve the company's revenue goals.
- Create strategic account plans with a focus on customer engagement.
Qualifications / Experience required:
- Business or technical degree desirable
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years sales experience and knowledge within the electrical or industrial sector
- Strong technical skills with engineering concepts
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong sales skills and ability to identify market opportunities
- Knowledge of surge and lightning protection preferred.
- Skilled in MS Office software (word, excel, PowerPoint) and CRM
- Excellent customer service skills.
