About the role
As a Business Manager you help us make sure everything runs smoothly. You proactively oversee and manage our daily operations, coordinating and supporting enabling functions including HR, IT, Finance, Security, and administration. You are a ‘doer’, natural collaborator, trusted confidant, and professional problem solver. This role will inspire you every day to deliver on our purpose and contribute within a profit-for-purpose organisation.
Success in this role will see you…
- Use your initiative to drive outcomes
- Ensure operations (HR, IT, Finance, Security and Administration) are carried on in an appropriate, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective way
- Administer systems such as Employment Hero and Xero
- Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures, including driving innovation
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, keeping track of meeting outcomes
- Source external goods and services
- Deal with correspondence and queries, preparing presentations and reports
- Be part of a high-performing team and organisation dedicated to delivering on our purpose
- Proactively initiate and/or support other activities as needed for the growth of yourself, your team, our clients, our organisation, and our community
- Do what it reasonably takes to help you, our team, our clients, Gurugun and our community thrive.
Experience/Knowledge Required
- Demonstrated passion for service
- Practical experience in an office management role (or similar)
- Sound knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, HR and Finance software
- Qualifications in business studies, information technology/computing, management or similar (ideal)
- Holds or has ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (including requirement to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
