Job Description:
The Business Operations Manager role will coordinate high-level business support services to ensure the efficient functioning of the branch. The role will also contribute to the management of all cross-functional issues affecting the group such as safety, financial and human resources (HR) management, business processes, reporting, strategic planning and organizational improvement.
Responsibilities and Experience:
- The Business Operations Manager role will coordinate financial management for the branch including planning, budgeting, forecasting, accruals reporting and control.
- The role will also contribute to high-level business support services to ensure the efficient functioning of the branch and contribute to the management of all cross-functional issues affecting the group such as safety, human resources (HR) management, business processes, reporting, strategic planning and organisational improvement.
- Coordinate financial management for the branch including planning, budgeting, forecasting, accruals reporting and control.
- Support business planning processes for the unit, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and initiatives.
- Lead the business support functions for the section to ensure alignment with corporate, division and branch strategies and initiatives including collection and reporting of business performance information.
- Provide advice, technical expertise and operational support to the unit and the division’s main functions on a wide variety of business matters, including HR, finance, and procurement.
- Prepare complex correspondence, briefing notes and reports in relation to specific projects, initiatives and issues ensuring that submissions are accurate, timely and have appropriate approvals.

- Preferable someone from government background or anyone from other industry so long as they have a strong finance background.
