About The Role

Join Service Business Line Consumables Procurement for an exciting opportunity as Business Partner Procurement. Consumables have a significant growth potential for FLSmidth, and your role will be to ensure we have right procurement and supply chain set up to support and drive the growth in close collaboration with the P&L owner. You will work with internal stakeholders from Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, Consumables Team etc., and externally with current and new suppliers. Currently a large part of the supply chain is insourced and key task will be jointly with our manufacturing or to improve key performance KPIs.

About The Department

You will join our newly established Consumables Procurement team who is responsible for having the right internal and external supply chain in place to support our growth and profit targets. You will have a great opportunity impacting the future direction for our supply chain strategy for Consumables.

Your Responsibilities

• Translating P&L owner’s growth strategy into procurement/supply chain strategy
• Full Supply chain and procurement responsibility for your products
  • Separation and dewatering
    • Flotation, e.g. rotors and stators
    • Filtration, e.g. filter manufacturing and filter cloth
    • Gold Concentrators, e.g. concentrator baskets
    • Other parts as agreed.
• In- and outsource analysis, strategy, and decision.
• Working close with our internal manufacturing to increase performance on key KPIs
• Lead time and SIFOT (Supplier in Full On-Time) improvement.
• Total cost optimization
• Optimization of ordering process
• Analyze KPIs and do corrective actions.
• Contribute to efficient SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process and take demand planning to supply planning.
• NPI planning
• Projects or other products as agreed with your manager.
  

Your Qualifications

• Relevant BSc or MSc degree or deep practical experience.
• Strong communication skills in English both orally and writing
• You thrive to work in a technically and organizationally complex business environment.
• You have insights into analyzing own manufacturing data and like working with data.
• You can work as a close sparring partner with our manufacturing organizations to drive towards excellence.
• You have knowledge about Polyurethane (PU) products and manufacturing.
• You can work independently and are not afraid to challenge the “as is” way of working.
• You have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset and are ready to challenge the status quo.

Some travelling will be required for this position.
