About the role:
As a valuable addition to the Unitywater Procurement team, you will responsible for the management, design and delivery of the goods portfolio including category strategies, contracts, and/or sourcing activities. Your aim will be to ensure Unitywater has effective and efficient supply relationships which promote value for money in the goods Unitywater requires to deliver for its customers.
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty& Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development, assessment and successful delivery of relevant procurement Categories and/or Sourcing Events, and/or Project Procurement, preferably within a utility or similar within Australia.
- Experience in sourcing direct form Original Equipment Manufacturers into Australia.
- Experience in “Should Cost” modelling or similar cost establishment techniques.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, commercial skills, and business acumen with proven capability in contract negotiations and the ability to understand and accurately interpret contracts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and dispute resolution skills with a sound ability to identify and effectively articulate problems and issues and the capability to think laterally to provide innovative solutions.
- Strong stakeholder relationship managements skills, including demonstrated attributes such as collaboration and influencing.
