- Provide Procurement Business Partnering support to designated client groups to effectively plan for and manage high value / high risk IT procurement projects
- Champion end-to-end procurement processes to ensure the delivery of fit for purpose goods and services
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT procurement matters, including coordinating with legal services to offer a comprehensive, one-stop solution for IT procurement needs
- Provide expert guidance and solutions pertaining to complex IT procurement challenges, including streamlining processes, preparing tender documents and accessing Standing Offer Arrangements and Panel Arrangements
- Inform key stakeholders on suitable procurement sourcing strategies and the development of risk mitigation strategies
- Strategically plan projects to ensure on-time delivery of procurement initiatives
- Actively contribute to uplifting procurement capability across the organisation
- Maintain currency and requirements within the IT category, whilst delivering suitable and fit for purpose NHVR solutions
- Responsible for deriving insights and providing education based on procurement data to drive improved procurement decisions and outcomes
- Provide effective advice to the business in preparation of forward procurements in readiness of the procurement process
- Ensure all purchases meet policy, management standards and legislative and regulatory requirements from a governance, cost, and workplace health and safety perspective
- Adopt recommendations from compliance checking in accordance with best practice procurement policies and procedures
- Build and nurture effective and influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners
- Actively contribute to the transformation of the procurement function from a tactical focus to a strategic focus through implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to manage effective relationships with vendors, stakeholders and management
- Proven ability in and commitment to great customer service
- Minimum 7+ years demonstrated experience in procurement roles
- Degree qualification in Supply, Procurement, Business, Commerce or similar discipline or equivalent experience
- Formal procurement qualifications, CIPS or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Experience in managing and optimising modern procurement management systems
