YOUR ROLE
Join CEVA, a global leader in third party logistics, and lead a dynamic team of continuous improvement professionals dedicated to driving operational excellence. The Business Process Excellence (BPE) Manager plays a pivotal role in evaluating and implementing continuous improvement programs across CEVA divisions in QLD. This role focuses on eliminating waste, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with CEVA's LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site team of continuous improvement professionals
- Collaborate with sites to enhance processes aligned with LEAN and continuous improvement philosophies
- Deliver project improvements, emphasizing operation re-engineering, process change, layout redesign, materials handling equipment (MHE) optimization, time studies, benchmarking, and cost reduction
- Lead sites in measuring and calculating project savings, payback, investments, and financial analyses
- Provide guidance and support for successful KAIZEN activities, including financial data for presentations and submissions
- Guide sites on CEVA's operating model, conduct Site and/or Transport Classification Assessments (SCA/TCA), cost modelling reviews, contract review analyses, and ensure alignment with operational excellence goals
- Develop and maintain performance measurements, KPIs, and BPE tools in collaboration with site operations.
Our ideal candidate has significant experience in continuous improvement gained in any industry, underpinned by relevant tertiary studies in industrial engineering, logistics / supply chain management, or similar as well as:
- Experience leading, coaching and developing teams
- Applied understanding of P&L management/budgets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Good operational, commercial, and financial acumen
- Advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong communication, presentation, and planning skills
- Strong change management skills
- Bonus: Certified Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) / experience gained in a 3PL environment / experience with automated operations.
