An exciting opportunity ahead, we are now inviting applications for the permanent the General Manager Business and Process Improvement position within the Finance Division, reporting to the CFO, located at either Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns, Mackay, Toowoomba, Brisbane (Newstead).
About your new role:
Following a comprehensive consultancy that has identified and understood our specific needs, we now require a General Manager to execute the necessary changes and Process Improvements.
You will be responsible for leading the establishment of a business and Process Improvement function and head up the enterprise content management (ECM) functions of information, recordkeeping, controlled documents, print and drawing management. You will effortlessly develop and implement strategies, frameworks, policies, and practices and provide specialist advice to drive improvement, alignment, and cost effectiveness.
You will be the custodian of key policies, systems, frameworks, processes, and standards, which will manage governance, capabilities, costs, quality, and practices to ensure adherence to legislative requirements.
You will analyse multiple data points and be the driving force on process optimisation and continuous improvement to identify inefficiencies and develop improvement strategies, frameworks, and plans for EQL.
Overall, the role will guide and provide expert advice, training, and education across EQL to support business teams to achieve corporate projects and address complex organisational issues.
About you:
You will seamlessly lead the business and Process Improvement strategic function for EQL.
Your experience motivating, maintaining, and leading a multi-disciplinary team towards the achievement of the organisation's strategic goals will drive the implementation of employee performance reviews, position descriptions and approve training plans.
You will have strong leadership and communication skills and demonstrated experience within a Process Improvement or similar role. You will be able to build and nurture relationships across the business at senior levels, where you can effectively lead change and put your passion for making a difference to work.
