Business Readiness Manager

The role of Business Readiness Manager will support RACO by providing management and delivery of multiple initiatives to enable capability uplift and ongoing compliance to the ever-changing nature of financial crime policy.
The primary support required will be for the Sirius project where you will work consultatively with stakeholders at all levels to build processes that are consistent, efficient, and customer-centric, deliver Business Readiness support supporting our drive to NPS +30.
You will Lead the change management approach and delivery, to ensure a successful change outcome and that the change lands safely, effectively and is sustained.
The roles of the Business Readiness Manager will include:
- Leads the effective delivery of the change solution in Regulatory and Control Operations (RACO); working cross functionally to ensure the change outcomes are successfully achieved
- Plans, manages, and facilitates change management activities to deliver a comprehensive change management approach
- Provides change advice to project delivery teams; stakeholders and senior leaders; working as a key business partner/advisor
- Conduct detailed change impact assessments that reflect an understanding of the impact of the change on the business and other areas of the Group
- Contributes to the development of change objectives and measures of success Design and develop change collateral as required
- Facilitate change workshops and support the facilitation of end user training or upskilling of subject matter experts
- Transition change into business as usual (BAU), including testing (UAT/BVT) satisfying Business Readiness assessment
- Engage with Line 1 risk team to ensure change risks are identified, assessed and managed
- Monitoring and reporting on change performance ensuring effective and transparent reporting
- Perform post implementation review for a change to identify any gaps and lessons learnt
Your skills & experience:
Essential:
- Intermediate skills in developing and implementing Business Readiness & change management plans in large or complex programs including PACE
- Exceptional project management and reporting skills
- Strong track record of stakeholder management with Senior Stakeholders is paramount for a successful candidate in this role
- Highly developed or advanced written and oral communication skills facilitate the change across businesses
- Experience in Financial Services and/or Financial Crime is highly advantageous
- Strength in analysis, problem solving and business solutions
- Knowledge of technology, systems, and processes
- Ability to build change management capability in business resources to optimize their involvement
- Demonstrated experience in managing and achieving results in complex change projects ideally relating to technology solutions and/or business processes in a complex banking organization
- Risk Mindset –All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks
Desirable:
- Strong MS Office suite skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Tertiary qualifications in business or technology highly desired along with qualifications in project management such as Certified Practicing Project
- Professional Qualification in AML or other relevant financial crime-related subject is a plus
- Change management accreditation e.g. PROSCI, APMG (or similar) is desirable
- Lean Six Sigma qualification (or similar) is desirable
- Business analysis experience is beneficial
