- Undertake research and prepare high quality documentation in relation to a range of strategic HR programs and projects for the Office as needed.
- Provide high quality advice and consultancy support to the Independent Regulator's leadership in a broad range of HR policies and related matters.
- Responsible for processing and reconciling financial transactions into Finance One
- Undertaking reconciliations of the accounts and engaging directly with the Department of Justice's Finance division.
- Assist the Business Services Manager with the processing of applications for community grants for awareness raising activities related to the Child and Youth Safe Organisations Framework and its implementation.
- Assist with the coordination and preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Manage the Office of the Independent Regulator's expenditure transactions and procurement processes in accordance with Government financial policies, procedures and relevant legislation
- Develop and maintain HR web-based resources for the office, including publishing, editing, and maintaining HR policies, and associate documentation on the office's website and intranet.
- Assist with the administration of various staffing issues including recruitment and monitoring occupational health and safety procedures.
- Assist with the coordination and review of the audit processes, including Work Health Safety.
