Period of AppointmentFixed term full time for 24 months
Hours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties- Undertake research and prepare high quality documentation in relation to a range of strategic HR programs and projects for the Office as needed.
- Provide high quality advice and consultancy support to the Independent Regulator’s leadership in a broad range of HR policies and related matters.
- Responsible for processing and reconciling financial transactions into Finance One
- Undertaking reconciliations of the accounts and engaging directly with the Department of Justice’s Finance division.
- Assist the Business Services Manager with the processing of applications for community grants for awareness raising activities related to the Child and Youth Safe Organisations Framework and its implementation.
- Assist with the coordination and preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Manage the Office of the Independent Regulator’s expenditure transactions and procurement processes in accordance with Government financial policies, procedures and relevant legislation
- Develop and maintain HR web-based resources for the office, including publishing, editing, and maintaining HR policies, and associate documentation on the office’s website and intranet.
- Assist with the administration of various staffing issues including recruitment and monitoring occupational health and safety procedures.
- Assist with the coordination and review of the audit processes, including Work Health Safety.
- The incumbent may be allocated duties that are not specifically articulated that are within the skill, experience and classification of the position, such as, carrying out ad hoc financial and incidental reports.
