Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Services Manager to join our team. As the Business Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding client services, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth. This position offers the opportunity to lead a talented team of professionals while collaborating closely with clients to support their financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Together with the director of accounting and the Business Services team.

Client Relationships 

  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships with both new and existing clients ensuring prompt and friendly service and pro-active communications.
  • Developing a deep understanding of a client’s circumstances and business needs
  • Building and fostering client referrals and facilitating internal service offerings amongst existing clients
  • Identifying client opportunities and services

 Client Services

  • Advise clients on complex accounting and taxation matters.
  • Assist in developing innovative solutions and strategies for the client.
  • With the broader team, providing strategic business advisory services including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning.
  • Resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, demonstrating problem-solving skills and professionalism.
  • Provide comprehensive financial reporting analysis, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Client Strategy

  • Assist clients with tax planning and compliance strategies.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop financial plans and forecasts to support business growth and sustainability.
  • Developing corporate structures and identifying corporate restructuring opportunities and implementation strategies. 
  • With a deep understanding of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations ensure compliance and provide strategic guidance to clients.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • CA/CPA qualified with 10 plus years of experience in Business Services, preferably within the SME and HNW space.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and taxation regulations, with a track record of delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Ability to understand and advise on complex corporate structures and provide corporate res-structure advice and services.
  • Experience and understanding in a range of accounting and strategic compliance software including products such as Xero, MYOB, Class, Now Infinity, and the Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
