Work type: Permanent - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Fixed Term - Full TimeLocation: Perth CBDClosing date: 2024-05-13 4:00 PMThe Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to almost two million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.Generating $1.5 billion in annual revenue and earnings and with total assets of approximately $7 billion, the Insurance Commission is a substantial self–funded statutory authority.The Insurance Commission’s commitment to a high performance corporate culture, having a workforce that reflects the diversity of our customers and continuous improvement is creating new opportunities for talented people to improve service delivery.The RoleWe are seeking to establish a pool of proactive and enthusiastic Business Services Officers for vacancies arising over the next 12 month period.Business Services Officers are responsible for ensuring that all correspondence is scanned, indexed and formatted appropriately. Documents are received via post, email, faxes, media files or uploaded from external systems and must be prepared, sorted and scanned into correct indexing profiles. In this role, Business Services Officers provide advice to Claims Officers and service providers to resolve payment issues and maintain account information.Attention to detail and excellent data entry skills are essential for this role. The tasks are shared and rotated across the team and Business Services Officers are required to work to a roster to ensure coverage of core business hours (between 8am and 5pm).A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant commensurate with skills and experience.The PersonYou will align with our values and have the capability to:
