We are seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to work with a fast growing organisation within the public sector area based in Rockhampton.

Due to recent growth and success our client is looking to appoint an AO3 Business Support Officer for a 3-month contract, to support the organisation regarding their maintenance service requests.With excellent growth, reliable clients and an ever-increasing reputation, they are now in the position to offer career development opportunities for dynamic and ambitious professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Webcat Validation – General spelling and grammar checks
- BEMIR Entry – General BEMIR, Program of works data entry or Education Asbestos audits.
- Assistance with arranging site inspections – via phone calls or emails with forms 9’s
- Updating work orders and user status
- Collating files to one location to copy to head office drive from assessors.
- Ability to connect with industry, local suppliers and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.
- Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems (i.e. in Ellipse and Microsoft Office).
- Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers while being a contributor to improving existing procedures.
- Effectively undertake general administration functions as required.
- Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames.
- Provide efficient and high standards of customer service
- Creating work orders from unplanned maintenance that is identified on site from the condition assessment program.
- Excel skills are mandatory
- Experienced in computer applications
- Sound typing skills with good accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure to meet timeframes
