The Australian and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA) are seeking a Business Support Officer to join their team. In this position you will be responsible for the provision of efficient specialised administrative service to the ANZDATA team and suite of programs.
Reporting to the Registry General Manager, the Business Support Officer will work closely with members from the Registry Executive, Advisory Committee, clinical themed groups and registry team. This position will interact with a broad range of external stakeholders, including; other registries, collaborative researchers and health care teams across various agencies within Australia and New Zealand who provide data to ANZDATA.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and monitor all ANZDATA meetings and events, including the Executive, advisory committees, working groups and community groups.
- Support the management of Registry operations and the administrative team, providing leadership and formulating and executing action plans consistent with the strategic direction of the organisation.
- Develop communication materials, including meeting agendas, minutes and progress reports.
- Participate in special projects to continuously improve processes, tools, systems and organisation
- Distribute reports and communiques to participating hospitals across Australia and New Zealand
- Perform timely and accurate data entry and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate records and take action to correct, prevent and avoid errors wherever possible.
- Attend and participate in meetings, staff appraisal and staff development activities.
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:
- Completion of administration/management certificate/diploma or equivalent (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the formation of collaborative links with colleagues and a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills including experience working in collaborative teams and fostering skills development
- Ability to work independently and be resourceful.
- Ability to work under pressure and to produce work of a high standard.
- Demonstrated commitment and passion for issues concerning Indigenous Australians, and strong awareness and respect of Indigenous cultures.
- Experienced in data entry.
- Experienced in using the full suite of Microsoft Office Programs
- Experienced in finance and human resource management
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of statistics and data collection.
