Tell me more...Work within a multidisciplinary team of health professionals as part of the Mental HealthAlcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS) who provide a range of services including intake, assessment, consultation and ward liaison, community case management, remote outreach, community capacity development and crisis response services by providing a high quality standard of Business Support and administrative functions to the Director MHAODS, Team Leaders MHAODS, MHAODS clinical staff, and clients of the Mental Health and AOD Service as well as proving coordination of the administrative functions of the service as a whole.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Provide high quality and confidential administrative support services to the Director MHAODS along with a high level of administrative support across the service, including secretariat for meetings, preparing documents for appointments/meetings, and preparing urgent responses to internal and external requests.
Liaise, consult, and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including senior management, partner agencies, representatives from other departments and professional bodies on a broad range of MHAODS issues.
Review, develop, evaluate, and improve MHAODS systems, procedures, and guidelines (in line with organisational requirements) to ensure timeframes are met and ensuring all staff understand the current correspondence processes and standards.

Requirements for the role:
This position requires the incumbent to operate a ‘C' Class Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
Travel across the TCHHS may be a requirement of this position in commercial and/or light aircraft and 4WD vehicles.
It is a mandatory condition of employment in this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough) hepatitis B.
