About the role & where you’ll be working:
Villa Pelletier is located in Leederville and situated less than 1km from the natural wetlands of Lake Monger, Our 40-bed aged care facility also provides accommodation to people in need for Homes. Our commitment is to enhance the lives of our residents, through exceptional 24/7 care, choice in experience and an atmosphere that exudes warmth and compassion.
We are currently seeking a full time Business Support/ Rostering Officer working (Monday-Friday).
We'll be asking you to:
- Supporting all resident admissions and discharges.
- Management of the Facility Reception
- Assisting in RAT tests and other safety protocols.
- Managing all incoming communications via phone, email and distributing appropriately
- Ordering supplies and relevant equipment as requested within budget
- Assisting the Facility Manager and management team with general administration support of the facility and any ad hoc duties
- Maintaining Resident Records
- Coordinating Maintenance requirements for the Facility
- Working alongside and controlling the roster with the Facility Manager to ensure coverage for sick leave, annual leave, scheduling shifts and preparation of the master roster.
About you:
You are an excellent Admin Officer with Rostering experience who enjoys interacting with people. You’ll have great customer service skills, an understanding of Microsoft Office suite programs, MYOB and the ability to prioritise and manage your time properly. Most importantly, you really enjoy tackling problems, solving puzzles and helping other people with short notice requests.
With a professional and friendly and bubbly manner, you’re comfortable managing a high call volume. You can also easily juggle multiple priorities and are happy working at a fast pace.
To be considered for this role, you'll need
- Previous experience preferred in a similar role (not essential)
- Ability to deal with sensitive issues with tact and discretion
- Experience in front facing administration / reception in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- A friendly phone manner & great interpersonal communication skill.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and residents.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Computer proficiency and an understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
- Previous Rostering experience (desirable)
