CQG is seeking a full time Business Support Unit Officer trainee, willing to undertake a Certificate III in Business, to fill a vacancy within our head office located in Rockhampton.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Reception/Phones: first point of contact via phone and at front counter for clients, suppliers, and members of the general public; taking messages, directing calls to appropriate staff members. Preparing and distributing incoming/outgoing mail.
- General Office: maintenance of staff lunchrooms, including general office supplies and purchases;
- Document Preparation: word processing, PowerPoint presentations, excel spreadsheets, marketing documents and banners, photocopying, printing, scanning & collating;
- Filing/Archiving: as per direction and in line with our management system requirements;
- Bookings: flights, accommodation, vehicle bookings as required;
- Finance: purchase order preparation, vehicle usage forms, invoicing etc;
- Registers: maintenance of keys and equipment registers;
- Stationery: maintenance and ordering of stationery supplies;
- Project Support: including desktop research, compilation of documents as required, collation of field records and travel receipts; and
- Marketing support: events preparation assistance, attendance at events.
Skills & Experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Ability to perform a range of clerical functions using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal skills; and
- Hold a current drivers licence.
