About the Role
If you are passionate about business transformation through analysis and innovation, then this role is perfect for you. The NLC is currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst within its Project Management Office team. This position will work closely with internal stakeholders to analyse and assess business requirements, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions. This position will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and validating business needs to support the development of new and improved systems, applications, and processes across the NLC.
What You Will Bring:
- Proficiency in Power BI for insightful reporting and analysis from various systems.
- Cross cultural competency and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
In addition to this, you will have: -
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent relevant qualifications.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of SQL and APIs.
- Proven capabilities in requirements elicitation and documentation as per BABOK 3.0, process engineering/reengineering, process modelling as per the BPMN 2.0 standard, and Business Change Management.
- Significant experience in designing, implementing and improving business Enterprise Solutions.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability to travel remotely via 4wd and light aircraft.

- This position is classified under our Enterprise Agreement at Senior Professional Officer (SPO), with a commencing base salary of $95,106 per annum.
- In addition to base salary, you will receive:
- 14% superannuation;
- District allowance starting at $2,539 per annum
- Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,724;
- Generous leave entitlements such as 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave, and paid Christmas close down;
- Salary packaging benefits of up to $15,900 and additional Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
