As we continue to grow and explore global opportunities, we have an exciting opportunity for a full time Proposals Analyst to join the team.
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Services, the Proposals Analyst position is an exciting and varied role responsible for the provision of detailed and robust clinical trial proposals for new business, as well as the analysis and revision of existing contracts.
The Opportunity
Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with clients & their senior management teams to confirm the scope of work
- Reviewing relevant clinical protocols and schedules along with pricing structures to develop proposals and quotes for new business opportunities
- Regular consultation with clients throughout the proposal process to ensure that budgets are clear and that terms, conditions and assumptions are accurately described
- Coordinating meetings to hand-over awarded studies to Project Management
- Analysing and reviewing amendments to ongoing projects to develop updated budgets
- Tracking progress of all new quotes and amended budgets by maintaining an up-to-date register in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Providing assistance with Requests for Information (RFI) as required
- Providing assistance with other business development, commercial and marketing activities.
About You
- Tertiary Education in Biomedical Science, Science or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ proposal development and contract management experience in a central laboratory or SMO/CRO environment is highly desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft applications skills, in particular Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proven customer service skills, and comfortable liaising with Client senior management teams
- Highly developed Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Time management, planning and organisational skills
- Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail, ability to be flexible, and a willingness to display initiative
This role is based within our dynamic team environment at our Macquarie Park Head Office and hybrid working is an option post completion of training.
