Do the phrases “troubleshooting issues” and “system configuration” get you excited?We have an exciting opportunity at Alida in our Operations team, to build and evolve critical internal software solutions that keep our systems and teams running smoothly. The Business Key software solutions include our project management, time tracking, and ticketing systems.This can be a fully remote role in Canada, but we also have offices in Toronto and Vancouver for hybrid working. Ideally intended to follow the Eastern or Pacific timezone.Key Responsibilities:
- Launch and enhance software solutions by conducting requirement gathering sessions with internal stakeholders, designing scalable and cost-efficient solutions, performing system configurations, running QA, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. Ownership of key documents include:
- Detailed project plan and timeline
- Functional specifications
- Technical specifications
- Data / workflow / business process documentation
- QA, End-to-End, and User Acceptance test plans
- Follow proper change and release management practices for successful deployments to different environments
- Create, maintain and enhance analytics dashboards for various business use cases and KPIs/Success metrics. Data scope includes:
- Revenue recognition and forecasting
- Project progress and account/program/budget/timeline risk
- Resource utilization and performance benchmarking
- Perform data management and migration activities, upholding data accuracy and quality standards
- Create and maintain thorough system documentation for admins and end users using industry best practices
- Define team-specific workflows, identify efficiencies and translate them into a system enhancement roadmap
- Partner cross-functionally with other internal departments, such as IT and Finance, across all workflow planning and execution
- Become proficient in Alida’s product suite, Professional Services offerings, client-specific use cases, and industry best practices
- Summary of software system purview:
- Monday.com (project management tool) integration with Make (middleware) that pushes/pulls data into Netsuite (would not own Make or Netsuite but would work with IT and Finance on troubleshooting)
- Zendesk (ticketing tool) native integration with Salesforce (would not own Salesforce but would work with RevOps - system owner - on troubleshooting)
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Process Management, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Business Operations, Business Consulting, Software Management, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Project Management, or Technical Support
- Excels in succinct written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and initiative, e.g. ‘rolls up their sleeves’
- Impeccable analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Experience in end-to-end software implementations, including data integrations
- Obsessed with data QA principles, process, and governance
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across the globe in an agile, cross-functional and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated technical aptitude, e.g. able to quickly learn and become an SME in various software platforms
- Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in data integration software, such as Make, Mulesoft, or Boomi
- Experience with development languages or scripting, such as Java or Javascript
- Experience in using ticketing tools, such as Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow and JIRA
- Experience in using project management tools, such as Monday.com, Wrike, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project
- Experience in using data analytics tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau
- Experience in using documentation platforms, such as Confluence
- Experience working within an Agile team environment (Scrum or Kanban)
