Open the Café at the start of the day and close it at the end of the day, ensuring security procedures are fully observed,
Play a part in setting up at the start of the day and clearing up, including cash recording, at the end of the day
Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers, other staff and volunteers,
Overseeing the timely provision of customer orders to a consistently high standard,
Switching off all lights and enabling the alarm system at the close of business
Arranging cleaning and maintenance services including trash removal, pest control, deep cleaning, and equipment maintenance, as needed.
Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professorially communicating daily with outlet manager.
Trouble shooting POS issues and any other malfunctions of equipment
Follow good financial practice, including cash handling, recording and banking
Support the development of the café menu and pricing
Actioning on Incidents and hazards reported in consultation with the General Manager
Promotes and practices safe work habits, identifying and resolving potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies and any team member or customer incidents.
