Southern Cross Care QLD has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Systems Specialist to join our Business Solutions team based at our Corporate Support Centre in Upper Mt Gravatt. This is a full-time 8-month contract.

As the Business Systems Specialist you'll be an integral part of our Business Solutions and ICT team. Your role as the Business System Specialist is to support and develop the digital systems enablement across the organisation.
In your role you will have an opportunity to:
- Work with our Community Services and other Corporate Support Teams as required on an exciting project to introduce a new cloud-based SaaS system to support their business operations
- Become a technical all-rounder by working with SCCQ technical solutions and support teams to leverage the tools to develop automated systems processes and deploy mobile applications
- Use your skills and expertise to embed cutting edge technology solutions in close co-operation with business function subject matter experts
- Take pride in your work and deliver responsive, gold standard support services to our frontline teams making it easier for them to deliver care
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in Business Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline is preferred
- At least 3 years’ experience in database management, software application configuration and support, system support, business and systems analysis and support
- Previous industry experience in aged, community or health care is desirable
- Knowledge of integration technologies is advantageous
- An understanding and practical experience of software change and release management and testing processes is desirable
- Practical application and prioritisation of data security and privacy principles as a key aspect of day to day operations
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and different departments within the business
- Exposure to data reporting and visualization tools
