The role of a Business Systems Compliance Specialist is to support the various Business Systems within Support Services, in particular around monitoring systems outputs, and the monitoring and management of vendors and their associated contracts, for the various Business Systems within Support Services. Additionally, you have a secondary focus on the streamlining of Business Systems processes, improve their efficiency and connect different departments within the organisation to work together toward common objectives of the Business Systems.
Working directly with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to monitor and improve systems that impact the whole of the Support Services division and, where necessary, coordinate with other Business Systems Specialists within the various business units of Support Services. You will be the COO’s voice and delivery method through a hands-on focus to drive optimum monitoring of Business Systems and associated vendor management within Support Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with other Business Systems Specialists within Support Services to ensure support for the organisation of the Bank’s Nintex and Promapp systems, including management of the Nintex ServiceDesk email box
- Provide vendor management support to the Chief Operating Officer for critical Support Services’ Business Systems
- Assist the Chief Operating Officer in delivering productivity, risk mitigation, increased sales growth and change management
- Stay abreast of developments in the business environment, including most regulatory, economic and political influences
In collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and Support Services Division, you will also be required to:
- Undertake auditing functions on key Support Services business system controls as required by the Chief Operating Officer
- Undertake contract management, including review, assessing and monitoring per the Bank’s policies
In conjunction with the Support Services Senior Business Systems Specialist, you will also be required to:
- Evaluate and improve existing Business Systems and processes
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements
- Design, test and implement new systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Provide training and support to users on new and existing systems changes (associated with the implementation of any business solution)
About The Team
Support Services is one of Auswide Bank’s largest divisions who are responsible for a broad range of banking activities performed within various back-office teams. These activities range from payments to loan application processing to servicing our customer’s needs via our Queensland based contact centre.
Well designed, documented and monitored Business Systems are a critical success factor in achieving business objectives in the Support Services division. About You
As well as having strong problem solving, analytical, written and verbal communication skills, you will also need to:
- Proven experience in the Banking or Finance industry or already acted as a Business Systems Specialist / Compliance role or similar role within a high service and regulated industry
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Experience with Ultracs, Nintex or Promapp would be highly desirable, but not essential
- Be a qualified Green Belt, or higher, Six Sigma and Lean Process professional, or willing to obtain such within 12 months of the role
- Desirable to have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field. Note – coding is not a requirement of this role
- Sound understanding of vendor management and contract construction requirements
