The Role
Behind the scenes of these memorable venues lies a solid Technology team to keep all things tech-based running smoothly. From Point of sales systems to servers it is this team’s job to keep everything fighting fit.
Merivale is looking for an experienced and energetic Senior Applications Specialist to join our Applications team. This role is responsible for looking after and resolving support issues for Merivale's suite of applications including but not limited to: Point of Sales systems (Agilysys POS, TASK POS), Check SCM Procurement, Tyro, Momentus Enterprise, Me&u and SevenRooms.
Other responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot and resolve all tickets, incidents, enhancements and development within key business applications.
- Perform analysis and provide advice on design and implementation activities relating to assigned applications.
- Support the implementation of Business Applications
- Diagnose and resolve technical and user identified issues or defects with predefined solutions
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- 5+ Years in a technical support role. Experience in Hospitality or Retail technology highly desirable.
- Ability to grasp new technology platforms and quickly understand how to use and adapt new technology for business requirements.
- Excellent time management, decision making, prioritisation skills.
- Able to communicate complex technical details to a non-technical audience and foster credibility with a technical audience.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- A passion for the hospitality industry!
