About the role:
Reporting to General Manager within our NSW / ACT Solids Business Unit, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners. You will be accountable for delivering top-line revenue growth through the management of People, Markets, Assets, and Financial (PMAF) in alignment with the Cleanaway Value Operating Model.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to drive performance and achieve profitable revenue, budgets, targets, and KPI’s.
- Manage the team’s opportunity pipeline as per the personal objectives set / regional sales plans/growth targets.
- Achieve all Business Unit sales team revenue targets, as per the budget, and drive net revenue growth.
- Proactively manage customer and prospect relationships to gain, retain, and grow Cleanaway’s revenue position and market share.
- Utilize Sales CRM to drive growth metrics and KPI’s across the sales team.
- Ensure all quotes/tenders submitted to customers are timely, accurate, and professional.
About you:
- Solid prior experience in a similar management role within sales.
- Demonstrated sales leadership skills, account management, and business development skills are essential.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can think innovatively to develop targeted sales and marketing strategies.
- Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience with a Sales CRM is desirable.
