About the position:
This position offers the opportunity to become part of our Procurement team. The team’s mandate is to source the best services, raw materials, components and consumables to meet our quality requirements, manufacturing schedules, and comply with legislative and corporate processes and procedures. You will work closely with multiple colleagues across the Office and Factory facility.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has been fulfilling a team leader / stores role but looking to take the next step in their career towards supply chain, learning:
- To use SAP in a manufacturing environment.
- To use Procurement strategies and procedures to achieve assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, innovation and regulatory compliance.
- To investigate alternative sources of supply.
- To work in a truly global environment.
About the person required:
- Cert 4 in Purchasing or other qualification relating to Business or Procurement; and experience in Procurement.
- Willing to learn new systems, be part of a team, enjoy multi-tasking.
- Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills.
- Have an aptitude for computing, including MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Attention to detail.
- Understand and adapt to change in a dynamic manufacturing and sales environment.
- Good interpersonal, planning, negotiation and customer service skills.
- Willing to undertake further study.
