This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday, Saturday overtime available.
Hours of work are either 6:30am-2:30pm or 7:30am-3:30pm - 30min lunch break.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble cabinets, shelves, drawers, and other wooden furniture pieces according to specifications and design requirements.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate construction and installation.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, such as saws, routers, and sanders, safely and effectively.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with precision to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members, including designers and installers, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology or similar.
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent woodworking skills and knowledge of woodworking machinery and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
- Great communication and teamwork abilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
