The Role:
We are growing, and therefore have an exciting opportunity for a Draftsperson to join our dedicated and experienced team here in Canning Vale. We require an articulated, organised individual who shows maturity and motivation and is seeking an opportunity to, grow and add value to the team.
Details: Using SolidWorks to prepare production/manufacturing drawings, ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards, writing related technical documents such as material lists and maintaining a library of standard drawing templates, updating existing drawings as new information becomes available or as designs change.

To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates who can bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- A tertiary or professional qualification in Engineering Drafting or Engineering Design
- Prior working experience in both Estimating and Drafting within the metal fabrication industry
- Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork
- Good mathematical and analytical skills with acute attention to detail
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet designated timelines
- Proven track record of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Eligibility to work in Australia with a current C-Class Driver's License.
About you:
- Open to Contract/Part time Candidates also.
- Minimum 2 years of CAD experience: Demonstrated expertise with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, to prepare technical and production drawings.
- Experienced in the administration of construction contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including consultation, facilitation, teamwork.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and work with many stakeholders.
