We are seeking a CAD designer to work out of the Corbould Park branch on the Sunshine Coast. The CAD position will also involve some quality control inspecting of the custom or special products that Civilmart is well known for.
As a CAD Designer at Civilmart you will become an integral part of our technical team:
- Primarily you will create CAD drawings of precast concrete products for sales and production.
- You will interrupt requests for drawings from Sales via customer supplied plans and develop the associated submittal and production drawings.
- Manage and control all drawings, associated drawing request forms and project data.
- Complete Pre-pour and Post-pour Quality Control inspections of the custom and special products.
- Liaise with a wide range of people including managers, engineers, sales, production and Main Roads inspectors.
- You will gain experience in manufacturing related activities, particularly with Quality Control.
- Have the opportunity to work as part of a fast paced team involved with some of the most significant civil engineering projects happening in our state.
Ideally, you will have 1-2 years practical experience in AutoCAD or Inventor, be skilled at drawing accurately and quickly and have a good eye for detail. Experience with technical drawings in a similar industry will be highly regarded. This is also a great opportunity for a graduate Engineer looking to gain some hands experience in precast concrete construction and quality control.
