The Role:
The Cadastral Surveyor will have knowledge of cadastral surveying and legislation. This role contributes to the integrity of the State’s cadastral system by providing advice to the Principal Cadastral Surveyor on standard cadastral surveying matters. The role will operate as part of a team providing professional expertise and direction to clients, the public and the wider surveying industry. The role will contribute towards the effective implementation and compliance of policies and procedures in the Land and Built Environment Directorate and the Department for Trade and Investment (DTI).
About You:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:

• Knowledge of legislation related to cadastral surveying.
• Developing experience in providing advice and recommendations on cadastral survey matters to clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated experience in cadastral surveying.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in the utilisation of survey equipment, instruments and survey software.

Essential Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in Surveying or equivalent and eligible for registration as a Surveying Graduate with the Surveyors Board of South Australia.

Desirable Qualification:

• Licensed as a Surveyor (or eligible to be) under the provisions of the Survey Act 1992

Special Conditions

• Successful applicants will be required to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
• Current drivers’ licence.
• Australian residency and the right to live and work in Australia.

Remuneration:
PO2 – $86,950 min – $96,223 max
