About The Role
Due to ongoing success and growth, Helping Hand are looking for a Senior Podiatrist to join their Metropolitan Division Allied Health Team, working either full time or part-time hours.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity, where you will be responsible for the development and delivery of Podiatry services across Helping Hand's Home Care Services division. You will bring your clinical leadership experience to foster a collaborative highly skilled team, overseeing the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders, of the feet and lower limbs. While inspiring and motivating your team to deliver optimal care.
The Senior Podiatrist will work closely with the Home Care Leadership team, Clinical Staff and Coordinators, while also developing supportive interagency collaborations to ensure continuity of care. Prioritizing high quality service in accordance with best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
Act as a professional point of contact, actively supporting the professional development within your team including fostering and developing Podiatry students.
Ensure Podiatry services consistently meet standards of practice.
Develop and implement policies/procedures for Podiatry services.
Clinical Practice
Provide comprehensive and contemporary, evidence-based podiatry services, in accordance with individual needs.
Support the culture of quality care, while actively promoting wellness and collaborating to work towards positive and impactful goals.
Innovation and Collaboration
Identify and implement opportunities to improve service and care experiences.
Demonstrate a commitment to the team, maintaining a supportive work environment while contributing to collaborative interactions across the organisation.
Safety and Quality
Ensure direct reports meet Standards across safety, quality and risk management.
Manage complaints, suggestions, comments - act accordingly on these
Ensure health and safety responsibilities are understood and adhered to

To succeed in this role, you will have:
Registration with AHPRA as a Podiatrist
Previous experience in clinical education principles
Prior collaboration working with a management group to plan use of resources.
