We are looking for a Cadet Contracts Administrator to join our Production Team in the Brisbane CBD office.
About the Position
.Girvan Group requires a graduate or 4th year student interested in gaining practical industry experience while they complete their University studies. This will initially be with the Girvan Group project management team and then moving on to work with the site management and project management teams.
The cadetship is based on a one to two-year rotational program enabling students to gain experience within the commercial building industry in roles including estimating and contracts administration, as well as onsite positions.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and clarifications on their quotes.
- Processing subcontractor and supplier orders, invoices along with security of payment schedules.
- Managing the project document control.
- Preparation of subcontract letting schedules.
- Preparing and sending RFIs.
- Recording meetings Minutes.
- Assisting the Project Manager in managing the project budget.
- Communicating with Sydney Head Office on project issues.
Key Selection Criteria
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need the following attributes:
- Graduate or 4th year student in the process of gaining your Degree.
- Good understanding of building construction or fit-out processes.
- Solid written English and grammatical skills.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- High attention to detail and delivery.
