Headlands Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster based in Sydney. We are a small team of coffee professionals who are obsessed with sourcing, roasting, and brewing quality coffees. With our flagship venue currently under construction and set to open around June, we are seeking a experienced hospitality professional to join us as a Cafe Manager.
Role Overview:
As the Cafe Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the operations of our flagship cafe. You will have the opportunity to build and lead a talented team, set the foundation for our flagship cafe. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about coffee and hospitality to make their mark and contribute to the success of a rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff.
- Oversee all aspects of cafe operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective cafe operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance.
- Foster positive relationships with customers and the local community.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality management role, preferably in the cafe or coffee industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of cafe operations, including inventory management, financial reporting, and customer service.
- Passion for coffee and dedication to delivering an exceptional coffee experience.
