1 X FULLTIME CATERING/DISPATCH SUPERVISOR
- ROSTER is on rotation over 5 days - Monday to Sunday
- NO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
- CASUAL RATE WITH FULL TIME SALARY PACKAGE AVAILABLE AFTER COMPLETION OF TRIAL PERIOD

for every occasion and we deliver across Sydney 7 days.
Charlie & Franks Events provide set menus, canapé menus and bespoke menus for every occasion at any of our venues or a location of your choice.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Day to day operations of the Cafe / Catering / Catering Dispatch
- Daily management and execution of catering orders
- Ensuring Catering orders are packed according to each order
- Ensuring Catering boxes are labelled correctly with dietary labels
- Ensuring catering orders are dispatched on time according to the delivery schedule
- Execute daily to do list and action all areas of improvement for the business with a sense of urgency and matter of high priority
- Prepare certain catering items yoghurts, sweets and savoury items for the next day
- Ensuring daily ordering is completed
- Ensuring invoices are checked and uploaded into invoice system
- Lead a team of approx. 5-9 staff
- Catering purchasing and inventory management
- Briefings to outline upcoming shift and ensure all staff have relevant information to perform their roles successfully
- Responsible for staff labour cost
- Staff training, performance appraisal and disciplinary requirements
- A superior level of product standards to ensure the ultimate level of customer satisfaction (i.e. excellent product, attentive professional service, guest satisfaction)
- The positive interaction with both fellow FOH & BOH Staff members to create a harmonious work environment
- Feedback regarding strengths, weaknesses is actively given, received, accepted and actioned
- Coaching and mentoring staff
- Administration: Weekly reporting, stocktake, updating rosters daily , labour, food & beverage costs
- Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- Ability to assess and react as needed creating workflow methods to ensure the smooth running of the front of house
- Customer feedback follow-up in a timely manner
- Available to do early starts at 5.30am with a positive attitude.
- Special Projects as required
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hospitality or Catering work experience
- Valid Australian working rights
- Proven relevant experience (min 1 years) in a leadership role in the food and beverage industry, preferable to fast paced, high volume cafe or restaurant environments.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Vibrant, enthusiastic and positive personality
- Passion for looking after people (staff, suppliers and customers)
- Eye for detail across all aspects of the business
- Ability to follow instruction and Self driven
- Ability to delegate and motivate a team to get results
- Effective communication skills essential
- Collaborative attitude, adaptability and the drive to always go the extra mile
- Access to reliable transport to NORTH SYDNEY
