Calypso Business Analyst

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience with Calypso and working on back office investment projects. This role is an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Assist with the design and implementation of a future state target operating model that will include rollout of people, process, system and data-related capabilities for BSM and Treasury Operations teams, as well as the wider Liquidity & Implementation function
• Develop an understanding of current state and assist with the design of future state processes, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of the Calypso platform
• Translate front, middle and back-office business requirements into Calypso functional requirements through identifying the business needs and optimal solution approach and scope
• Facilitate and contribute to stakeholder workshops to support requirements elicitation, issue identification, solution design, decision making

Experience required :

• Strong experience working as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets specifically implementation and support services in a technical environment with Capital Markets platforms (execution management, credit risk, instruction / trade capture and settlements, asset management, accounting and finance, regulatory reporting)
• Experience working in a Front Office capacity in Liquidity and/or Treasury, with knowledge of fixed income & money market instruments, Back/Middle/Front office interactions, with knowledge of Treasury systems (Calypso) highly desirable
• Considerable product knowledge including the following financial instruments:- MM Money Markets, (FI) Fixed Interest & (IR) Interest Rate, FX, Futures, Derivatives (Options & Swaps), OTC & Structured Products, Bonds & REPO&'s, CFD's, Asset Backed Securities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor to all audiences
• Ability to prepare for and run engaging facilitation workshops with senior management
