About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS – Mount Gambier team as aCAMHS Clinician (Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker) where you will be responsible for:
- Outcomes of clinical practice for children, adolescents and their families with mental health issues.
- Ensuring optimal consumer care.
- Act as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies and the community by providing information and education regarding child, adolescent and family mental health.
- Promote access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and their families.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues.
- Knowledge of a variety of assessment and intervention models for working with children, adolescent and families.
- Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction.
- Ability to communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions and work as a team member.
