Camp Management Services Field Supervisor
Job Overview: The Camp Management Services Field Supervisor/ Relief role is designed to provide comprehensive support across all Camp Management roles. This includes, but is not limited to, acting as a Camp Manager, Chef and Housekeeper as needed. The role also involves assisting with camp mobilisations, onboarding new Camp Management staff, and offering ongoing support for all field operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of camp services.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Provide relief as a chef, camp manager, and housekeeper in our camps.
- Conduct infield and operational training and onboarding of new staff.
- Assist during mobilisations, overall asset management, and camp moves for Turnkey Solutions.
- Collaborate with Field Operations Managers to offer additional support to camp staff.
- Serve as the first point of contact for camp staff and provide after-hours on-call support.
- Perform other duties as directed.
HSE Leadership:
- Work with NMC’s HSE Lead to provide HSE leadership and ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and standards.
- Lead by example to influence a positive HSE culture and promote risk awareness among the workforce, including subcontractors.
- Actively participate in incident investigations, site audits, plant inspections, emergency response planning, and hazard management.
- Ensure effective communication of HSE hazards and foster a culture where all personnel understand their right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Food Safety Supervisor certification
- C Class Driver’s Licence
Experience:
- Previous experience in a senior chef, camp manager, and/or field support role.
- Experience working in a site-based environment within the oil & gas industry, resources, or other remote work site industries.
- Proven experience in leading small, dynamic project teams and mentoring less experienced individuals.
- Experience working in a challenging and evolving work environment.
- Mobile camp operations and field experience.

- Ability to engage key stakeholders, negotiate outcomes, and act as a liaison between various parties, while showing empathy and understanding in diverse situations.
