Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation was established in 2013 to drive research for a world without Sanfilippo syndrome, a devastating and fatal form of childhood dementia. There is currently no cure available and most children don’t live to adulthood.
We aim to change this reality for families and turn heartbreak into hope.
With a proven track record in enabling research, our thriving ‘business as unusual’ organisation is driving the implementation of a global research roadmap to find cures and treatments for Sanfilippo. We are dynamic, we are passionate and we are determined to find solutions as quickly as possible.
About the role
As our Campaigns and Fundraising Specialist you will be an integral member of our foundation, working closely with the CEO, research team and partnerships team to drive fundraising initiatives, audience engagement and campaigns that create awareness and help raise funds for vital research.
This is a diverse role with space to bring your ideas, creativity and expertise in fundraising, donor acquisition, relationship building, events and Campaigns and communications.
Key responsibilities include:
- strategic oversight and ensuring the success of fundraising Campaigns and events, including peer to peer, community and digital
- leading our engagement with families, donors and partners
- growing our base of supporters and regular givers.
About you
As a strategic and innovative thinker, you will be supported to push boundaries and try new things.
This role will suit an adept communicator and experienced fundraiser who can juggle multiple priorities and get things done! You have an entrepreneurial and creative mindset, are super organised and great at building connections with people.
