About the role
The Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) is hiring a number of Campus Assistant Services Officers within the Workforce Team.
The Campus Assistant Services Officer is responsible for delivering a quality customer experience by providing timely, accurate and efficient information and assistance to stakeholders, including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively amongst an energetic team, servicing student enquiries in-person, on phones and over the counter.
- Respond via our online portals on behalf of the university, to high volumes of enquiries from our culturally diverse student community, the general public and University stakeholders.
- Provide support, advice and training of new team members, and share learnings.
- Work within a number of teams across the LLE to assist with peak period workloads.
- Attend official university events as a representative of UTS, such as graduation ceremonies, open days and information days.
About you
You are a self-motivated individual, enjoying a variety of tasks and working with many stakeholders. You will enjoy a role which gives you the opportunities to gain an understanding of all aspects of learner journey at the university.
You are also:
- Customer service orientated with a passion for working in a customer facing role.
- Proficient with computer applications and databases.
- Able to retain and manage a large amount of information with a high level of accuracy.
- Flexible and able to adapt to all levels of change in the work environment.
- Proven in your capacity to work productively and effectively within different teams and locations
- Able to work under broad direction, be self-motivated, take initiative and exercise good judgment.
- To communicate effectively, in both verbal and written format
Remuneration & Benefits
Pay rate: $49.54 per hour (HEW 4 casual pay rate)
The university offers 9.5% employer provided superannuation. This appointment will be on a casual basis.
