- Part Time, 14 hours including weekends.

- Conduct pool and gym opening procedures, including removing pool covers, cleaning the pool and surrounds
- Place lane ropes in pool and prepare all safety equipment
- Test the pool water and record the daily results in SMM
- Conduct lifeguard activates throughout the opening hours of the pool
- Undertake the rescue of any user as required in accordance with standard work instructions covered by the certification
- Manage access to swimming pools by entitled members only
- Supervision of Gym Attendees- Defence and Families and Authorized personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness of pool and gym equipment
- Liase with gym patrons and show equipment operation and expectations
- Report hazards and maintenance requirements
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Current Resuscitation Certificate
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Genuine passion for excellent customer service
- Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a life guard role
