The Role
Joint Capabilities Division has exciting opportunities available. We are seeking to fill multiple Capability Analyst roles within the Program Support Office and Joint Command, Control, Communications and Computers (Joint C4) Branch.
The role requires a motivated individual who is able to work collaboratively within a team environment. You will have considerable stakeholder engagement relative to complex or sensitive issues. You will be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve expected outcomes.
You will be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex activities within an integrated workforce while maintaining a well-developed understanding of, and compliance to, relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy and procedure requirements.
About our Team
JCG PSO is a key capability management resource within Joint Capabilities Division, supporting JCG's implementation of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS). We support the Head of Joint Capabilities (HJC) within JCG in Portfolio-level decision-making and management of JCG Capability Programs.
JCG PSO also provide support services for key capability development functions, which can be scaled according to project needs. These include: risk management; strategic advice; cost estimation; scheduling; and workforce management.
The Joint C4 Branch is accountable for remediating the current, and assuring the future, Joint Force's Command and Control backbone. The Joint C4 capabilities are the foundation of the Sensor Decider Effector framework and are the glue for employing the Joint Force across the Land, Maritime, Air & Space, and Information & Cyber Domains.

- Warfighting Networks and Applications
- Joint Data Networks
- HF Communications
- Communications Security
- Defence Artificial Intelligence Centre
